Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

February 13, 2016

Full Product Title: Liz Earl Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. Sweet Orange and Mint 50ml.

Price: £9.75 (includes one muslin cloth)

Vegan? Unfortunately it uses Beeswax. Liz Earle is also owned by Avon, however it is  still completely cruelty free and they even have the leaping bunny!

I have always been a fan of Liz Earle’s beauty products, more so the hot cloth cleanser and when I saw this beautiful edition for Christmas, I had to try it out. The smell of this was wonderful, it wasn’t too overpowering, it was nice and subtle and slightly sweet. Lovely.

In terms of using this product, it’s pretty easy to use. You apply it dry on your face and rub gently to remove makeup, then run the tap till lukewarm and wet the muslin cloth and ring it out. Then you just take the dirty smudgey mess off your face and you’re done! I feel as though this is a great product at combatting spots too, it definitely made a difference to my face anyway. It always felt so fresh after using this product and helped it feel more moisturised. This isn’t just exclusive to this Limited Edition one either, the original makes my skin feel just the same! They’re both absolutely amazing at removing any difficult eye makeup too, it’s almost like it melts your makeup away!

As far as I’m aware, all/most Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser’s come with at least one muslin cloth too. These are amazing, they’re so soft and gentle on the skin but feel as though they’re still slightly exfoliating it without being too harsh. However, of course you’ll run out of these if you use one every night so cotton wool pads work just as well which I stock up from at Superdrug. They always have great deals on if you buy a certain amount so go check that out!

Finally, this is a great product for sensitive skin. Of course all skin varies and it may not be suitable for some people but me, and my mum especially, both have sensitive skin and both rave about this product. My mum uses this all the time and has never had a problem and trust me, she has a lot of skin problems with many products! I highly recommend this, it may be a bit pricier than what some people may want to pay but it really is worth every penny and makes my skin feel great. If you’re still sceptical, you can order a little 30ml tube for around £6 from their website or a few companies also offer them as free samples, I got one from asos a while ago with my order. Definitely try it out!!
